We'll be doing a series of hikes this summer. Most of them will be moderate level hikes with some elevation gain. The hiking pace is moderate and allows for easy conversation with your hiking companions. Excited to play in the mountains with you!

The ‘M’ is an easy to moderate sunny hike. We will take the easy section of the trail there and back. The elevation gain will be around 850 feet and the trail is 3 miles roundtrip.

For those that are interested, we'll head to the Valhalla Meadery after the hike.

*Note - The M is a busy parking lot. If you can’t find a spot, you may want to try the Drinking Horse parking lot across the street and walk to the M trailhead using the tunnel.

What to bring:
I recommend wearing a backpack/camelback ideally with a waist strap to take the pressure off your shoulders. Some people just carry a water bottle for this hike but here are other items you may want to consider bringing: Plenty of water, snacks, layers/rain jacket, baseball cap, sun glasses, bug spray, bear spray and comfortable, broken in hiking/walking shoes.

Note - If you're new to the area and haven't done much hiking yet, please know that our air is thinner here which makes hiking a little more difficult. Make sure you acclimate to the area before joining us for any moderate level hikes. Message with any questions/concerns on whether this might be the right event for you.

Directions:
Go north on Rouse Ave., which becomes Bridger Canyon Rd. After a few miles, turn left into the signed parking area, just before a narrow constriction between the Bridgers and the Story Hills.
